Quartz ComposerからiTunesを弄ったり、音を再生したりできます。

iTunes
This patch allows simple control of the iTunes application

Sound
This patch plays a sound file. It accepts http, rtsp, and a local file. It supports standard QuickTime files (mov, mp3, wav, etc). Note, the sound file must have an extension (e.g. 'soundfile.wav' will work, 'soundfile' will not).

とのことです。

音はパス指定されたサウンドファイルを文字通り再生するだけで、内部でどうこうすることは出来無いみたいです。(Audio Inputパッチみたいな使いかたはマダ無理っぽい。)
試してないですが(試せよ!)、音を保持させてiMovieへ持っていくことも多分出来ないとおもいます。
